The list of featured customizations, on the home page, is now displayed in a scrolling view. Click on the previous/next buttons to view the announcements.
This is built from a standard SharePoint list, on top of which I have added the jQuery jCarousel lite.

On the top right of the home page you'll find an example of two-level drop-down menu. The content is pulled from a SharePoint list, and the menu is rendered using the default SharePoint script for drop-down menus (same as for "Site Actions", etc.).
The menu has two options: large icon mode or small icon mode.
